The waterfall is no way near as busy as the very popular gorge about a 10 minute drive away. At 20km long it is the second longest gorge in Europe. It costs us 5TL to park and then 5TL each to go in. The mouth of the canyon has a wooden platform hugging the rock side and fast flowing water below which some people jump into to. We wade through the very cold water with the help of a rope bridge, but decide to go no further as it narrows and requires hard helmets due to the risk of rock fall. Although dramatic, the waterfall is the better experience of the two and tell the hotel manager his recommendation was a good one.
Back at the hotel we chill by the pool for the rest of the afternoon and enjoy a home cooked meal at the hotel in the evening.
